Protests against Dilwale film in the North
The screening of Dilwale, which was released today, was stopped from being screened at Ghorakhpur (UP), Jabalpur (MP), Surat (Gujarat) and Raipur (Chattisgarh).
Several Bharatiya Janata Party and Bajrang Dal protesters have staged protest across some parts of the country against Bollywood film 'Dilwale', which released today i.e on Friday
The protesters were against the comments made by Shah Rukh Khan, earlier, regarding intolerance in India.
Though the actor apologised for it, there was no excuse from many protesters.
Several protesters were seen burning down posters of SRK and even burnt the effigy of the actor.
In Bhopal the activists of the BJP came to a theatre to protest but police threatened to arrest them and drove them away.
It is to be mentioned here that Rohit Shetty's 'Dilwale' movie features Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
