Amole Gupte To Direct Saina Nehwal Biopic

In the Bollywood, there is a latest trend of making biopic movies.

The director of 'Taare Jammen Par' movie Amol Gupte has reportedly announced a biopic project to be made on Badminton ace player Saina Nehwal.

The diector has grabbed the copy rights to make the project and very soon the project is going to be launched.

Mumbai-based Front Foot Pictures Pvt Ltd, has acquired the rights to make the film on the life of the 25-year-old world-champion.

 It has been reported that recently Film Maker Amol Gupte visited Hyderabad, met Indian badminton champ Saina Nehwal and his family members and gathered the required information needed for making the project.

Badminton ace Saina Nehwal is the first Indian to win a medal in Badminton at the Olympics, who is the first Indian after Prakash Padukone and also the first Indian woman to be ranked as the World number one singles player.

It is to be mentioned here that the success of 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' and 'Mary Kom' have proven that biopics have an audience.
