YSRCP moves no-confidence motion against AP Speaker
YSRCP MLAs led by deputy floor leader in the Assembly Jyothula Nehru gave the notice for no confidence motion against Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly speaker Kodela Sivaprasad to the secretary of the assembly.
Speaking on the occasion, one of the party MLA said that the notice was being given only because they have no other alternative.
He said the Speaker was behaving in a very partial manner ignoring the issues raised by them including Call Money scam and Roja's suspension issues.
Deputy floor leader in the Assembly Jyothula Nehru alleged that 'The Speaker misused his power and went beyond the frame of the quoted rule no 340 sub-clause (2), which clearly says a member can be suspended only to the extent of the ongoing session. But ,she was suspended for one year.'
