Mayor murder: Police impose Section 144 in Chittoor dist
Police imposed 144 section in sensitive areas in Chittoor district after the gruesome murder of Mayor Anuradha and attack on her husband K Mohan by unidentified men in corporation office in Chittoor on Tuesday.
Mohan, who suffered serious injuries, died at the CMC Hospital in Vellore while undergoing treatment.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu condemned the murder of Anuradha.
He said that the guilty will be punished severely. Home Minister Chinna Rajappa said that murder was an unfortunate incident.
Police are suspecting Chintoo?s role, who is Mohan's nephew, in the murder of Anuradha.
