US Open: Leander Paes, Martina Hingis win mixed doubles title

Indian tennis ace player Leander Paes has made the news by creating history by winning the U.S. Open mixed doubles title with Swiss partner Martina Hingis.

With this win, 42-year-old Leander Paes has surpassed former partner Mahesh Bhupathi's record.

He has won nine Grand Slam mixed doubles titles against Mahesh Bhupathi's eight Grand Slam.

The fourth seeded India-Swiss pair have succeeded defeating unseeded Americans Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Sam Querrey 6-4 3-6 10-7 in a final match to win their title , which is third Major title during this season.
