Wimbledon champion Sania Mirza off to Sri Lanka for Eid

Hyderabad, July 18: India’s tennis queen Sania Mirza is celebrating Eid with her husband Shoaib Malik in Sri Lanka. At present Shoaib is a member of the Pakistan cricket team touring Sri Lanka.

Sania is in high spirits now-a-days as she created a history by becoming the first female player from the country to win a women’s doubles Grand Slam trophy.

The 28-year-old achieved this feat by winning Wimbledon trophy along with Swiss partner Martina Hingis.

According to reports in local media, Sania termed Eid with Shoaib as special as they rarely get an opportunity to celebrate festivals due to their busy schedule. She expressed happiness about her career and extended Eid greetings to the people.
