Bollywood Celebs Ranbir, Anushka ,Preity Zinta campaign for donations for Nepal





Media and entertainment conglomerate Star India has launched an innovative campaign on Wednesday to help out the victims of Nepal, hit out by devastating earthquake .

It has launched the campaign in association with NGO CARE India, to collect funds for quake-hit Nepal.

The campaign is being initiated by some of the Bollywood celebrities like Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Preity Zinta .

Star India and CARE India are two major organisations which are extending help towards the victims of Nepal.

CEO of Star India , Uday Shankar has released a statement which stated that neighbouring country Nepal has been struggling with emotional and other crisis which need to be properly addressed on humanitarian ground.

 CARE India board chairperson,Nachiket Mor has released a statement in which he has appealed to all Indians to donate funds and provide immediate life saving assistance to the earthquake hit victims of Nepal.

The board chairperson of CARE India has also thanked Star India for helping raise funds for Nepal victims who have been expecting and awaiting humanitarian relief.

Viewers coming across with it will have an option to donate funds. Either they may use online network , or through cheques or demand drafts.

The noble and innovative campaign will follow the guidelines of Operation Maitri initiated by the Indian government.
