Cricketer Bhuvneshwar gets death threat
Meerut (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 10: Indian cricket player Bhuvneshwar Kumar and his father have reportedly received life threats over a land dispute in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, according to reports.
Bhuvneshwar's father Kiranpal Singh has registered a complaint at Incahuli police station in the district. According to the complaint, Kiranpal Singh made a land deal with Ranveer Singh of Bulandshahar district and paid Rs 80 lakh. Ranveer Singh has not transferred the land after receiving money and he is now threatening Kiranpal Singh.
The accused allegedly threatened Bhuvneshwar and his father and refused to return the money. Police registered a case on the accused and five others and took up investigation. Bhuvneshwar is a member in the current Indian team touring Sri Lanka.
