Annie Roy is India's only woman tunnel engineer
Annie Roy has become successful drawing the attention of people related with her contribution towards nation.
She played a major role in the Bengaluru Metro Project.
Annie Roy, the only woman tunnel engineer in the country, was first assigned to Delhi Metro works.
Though, she has to struggle in a male dominated world, nothing could affected her spirit.
There no one believed that she had come to work.
The work place was totally unfriendly, with debris all over and no toilet.
But at 'Namma Metro' Annie Roy has found her home.
Namma is the country's first southern Indian underground metro running from Cubbon Road to Vidhana Soudha.
She alone worked on the tunnel borer machine, for South India's first underground metro in Bengaluru.
