SC asks MCI to respond to state governments' plea on NEET
National Eligibility Entrance Test in India has put the students in hold over their thoughts.
Some states and private medical colleges, who sought permission to continue with separate tests for admissions in the MBBS and BDS courses, in their petitions have been observed by the Supreme Court.
Andhra Pradesh (AP) and Telangana plea, who have filed review petition on National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) has been postponed by Supreme Court (SC).
The Apex court has heard the pleas of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu today.
Also Jammu and Kashmir has filed a plea against NEET.
The verdict on states' plea over NEET will come on Thursday, the Apex Court said.
The court invited more objections if any, by issuing notices to Medical Council of India and the Central government .
SC wanted MCI to give it's opinion on the states' objections.
