Bollywood actress wins temper award


Amitabh Bachchan had been portrayed as an angry young man in Bollywood that put him in good stead. Prior to that, it was Shotgun Sinha. Now his daughter has taken after the father. Sonakshi Sinha has shown her haughty temperament.

Little did Sonakshi realize that her haughty temperament would also get her much more recognition. In reference to cyber harassment, she had commented: `Cyber harassment is wrong. Everyone should learn to stand on his/her legs. Be bold and be truthful.'

This piece of advice went down well with Hollywood film-makers who are going to release their film, `The Angry Birds', in India on May 27. They began looking at cyber world for angry comments. They found Sonakshi's comment the angriest, and announced `The Angreen' award for her.

While Sonakshi's comment sounds sober advice, the Hollywood film-makers saw anger in that and decided to give her the award. It appears that they may have seen some of the comments by Shotgun Sinha in good old days. So Sonakshi stands to benefit.

Creating categories for awards is a creative way of picking a winner.
