The Minstry of External Affairs Ministry (MEA) has suspended the validity of liquor baron Vijay Mallya's diplomatic passport.

Billionaire's passport has been suspended because he has 'stopped cooperating with investigators', Enforcement Directorate sources said.

It has been reported that following a letter written by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) addressed to External Affairs Ministry, the said steps have been taken.

The passport  of Rajya Sabha MP has been suspended with immediate effect for a period of four weeks, under Section 10 A of the Passports Act.
