Telangana government resuffles portfolios to ministers
Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, popularly known as KCR has resuffled the cabinet ministers post on Monday.
In a cabinet reshuffle, the chief minister has interchanged the departments of ministry portfolios.
Ministers KT Rama Rao(KTR) and Jupally Krishna Rao and Talasani Srinivas Yadav have mainly faced change/addition of portfolios .
The changes have been approved by the Governor ESL Narasimhan.
Minister Talasani Yadav has been taken away of his Commercial Taxes portfolio and offered Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries.
However he will continue with his present Cinematography portfolio.
Commercial Taxes will now be handled by the chief minister KCR himself.
The chief minister will also handle Rural Irrigation (Mission Bhagiratha).
Minister KTR will handle Industries, Public Sector Undertakings, Mining and International Affairs portfolios in addition with IT field.
Minister Jupally has been offered Panchayati Raj and Rural Development.
Agriculture minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy has been given an additional Co-operatives department.
