Shoes, slippers attack at Kanhaiya Kumar in Nagpur
Jawaharlal Nehru Students Union president Kanhaiya Kumar, who is in the news for demanding justice against Dalit community, has faced bitter experience today in Nagpur.
It was his first visit to Nagpur. The moment, he proceeded towards the stage, shoes and slippers were hurled at him and slogans were raised against him.
The students leader, faced the heat from a protesters , while he was addressing a public meeting on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar.
The incident took place amid the group of ABVP and Bajarang Dal activists.
It is to be mentioned here that Kanhaiya Kumar was charged with sedition for conducting an event at JNU in Delhi ,where anti-national slogans were raised
The incident had reportedly made face-off between the BJP and Opposition parties led by Congress on nationalism issue.
