YSRCP MLAs continue joining TDP !
After a dozen YCP MLAs had defected to the ruling TDP, the Jaganmohan Reddy party is in for a shock today and for the days to come with the imminent joining of the ruling party by its MLA, Chand Basha, of Kadiri in Anantpur district.
Not only that, another two dozen YCP MLAs are also going to join the ruling party, according to the fright created by the TDP in the Jagan ranks.
Even as the Jagan ranks are getting perturbed over the large-scale defections underway, the YCP leader is knocking at the doors of the Governor, ESL Narasimhan, in a bid to prevent the large-scale crossing over to the ruling TDP. If the report that 25 YCP MLAs would be quitting the party was true, the Jagan Party would then be left with hardly 20 MLAs.
Jagan would still be the leader of the opposition. But then, if what the TDP legislators are gloating over is true, the YCP would stand to lose half of its MLAs to the TDP.
Chand Basha has already reached Vijayawada for an audience with the Chief Minister. Who the other 25 YCP MLAs are will emerge shortly.
