Pawan Kalyan's Janasena gets EC recognition
Election Commission's Andhra Pradesh unit has given recognition to Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena party.
The party, which was already recognised as a political party in Telangana has also got recognition in Andhra Pradesh also.
The Janasena party symbol has, however, not been finalised.
Election Commission has handed over the recognition papers to Jana Sena party founder Pawan Kalyan.
The Commission has also completed other formalities by sending the said papers to the district collectors and other returning officers in this
regard.
EC has earlier sought people's intervention if any in this regard.
Some objections have been raised from East Godavari district people, but the Election Commission has ruled out those staing that these are not legally feasible .
It is to be mentioned here that Jana Sena party founder Pawan Kalyan has applied for party's registration to state election commission on December 10 in 2014.
