Supreme Court Clears Common Test For Medical Courses
The Supreme Court of India on Monday has cleared all the doubts related with common medical examination case.
The top court paved the way for implementation of National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for medical courses.
With this, all across the country, the rule will be implemented.
The top court, while going through the merit of the case has set aside its 2013 order by which the common entrance test for admissions to MBBS, BDS and PG courses in all medical colleges was quashed.
The central government and Medical Council of India , that had challenged the 2013 order, can now conduct NEET.
Justice Dave heading the Constitution Bench said that the 2013 judgment requires a reconsideration and stressed the need of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) examination.
It is to be mentioned here that NEET is a common entrance test for admission to MBBS, BDS and post-graduate courses.
