Roja says sorry to Anitha
YSR Congress Nagari MLA RK Roja has apologised to ruling TDP MLA Anita, on Wednesday before the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Privileges Committee.
YSRCP MLA said sorry to TDP MLA saying that she should be excused if the latter felt hurt by her remarks in the Andhra Pradesh State Assembly in the last assembly session.
However, Roja made her point clear that the TDP leaders had deliberately targeted her.
The Privileges Committee meeting ended after about 2 hours.
It is assumed that the tendering of the apology by the YCP leader ended the matter in favour of Roja, because there was no clear indication whether she was forgiven by the panel or not.
After trying to move the courts and failing, Roja had decided to attend the Privileges committee meeting today, where she tendered the apology.
Roja's target in the House was Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and she may have said a few things because Anita came in the way.
She was suspended by the House for an unprecedented 1 year.
It is to be mentioned here that YSR Congress MLA Roja, who has been suspended for one year for her alleged comments against TDP MLA Anitha in Andhra Pradesh Assembly, has been asked to come to AP Assembly Privilege Committee to put forward her statements.
