Jagan complains to EC on defections to TDP

The defection issue pertaining to Andhra Pradesh has reached the office of Election Commission of India in Delhi.

In the name of `Save Democracy' campaign by the YSR Congress party leaders including its chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the said defection issue has been presented before many national leaders including union ministers.

YCP, as a part to counter `Operation Akarsh' of the ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh,  has been protesting since some days.

YSRCP chief and the leader of opposition , YS Jaganmohan Reddy took the matter to the EC in the morning.

He complained to the EC that the TDP, by inducements, was attracting his YCP MLAs.

They won the assembly seats on his party ticket, so they should be disempowered by the commission. He gave the complaint to the EC in writing.

He also sought an apppiontment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but had not been given a time slot yet.

It is learnt that YS Jagan will write a detailed letter to PM Modi in this regard.
