TDP Ministers serve legal notice to Sakshi media

The `Sakshi' paper and TV channel run by YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy have been criticised for their stories and video coverages that the AP capital of Amaravati has been turned into real estate by the key leaders of the ruling Telugu Desam Party.

Ministers Ponguru Narayana, Prattipati Pulla Rao and others have been alleged that they were credited with hundreds of acres in the capital region on benami names.

Taking this aspect as legal threat, Ministers Narayana and Pulla Rao have served legal notices to Sakshi newspaper and television.

They have alleged in the notice that Sakshi daily and TV have defamed their reputation by publishing and telecasting series of reports for the past one week.

The TDP leaders have even submitted their explanation but that was found of no use.

The legal notices sent by TDP leaders said that the stories were false and mere allegations aimed at showing them in bad light.

The `Sakshi' proprietor would have to face defamation suits, if no apologies were made for the false allegations, the TDP leaders added .
