Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Mani dies
Noted Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Mani,who started his career as a mimicry artist, then as a character artist , comedian and singer has passed away at a private hospital in Kochi on Sunday.
He was 45.
The actor acted in more than 200 movies in all the south Indian languages i.e Tamil ,Telegu and Kannada and Malyalam films.
The actor portrayed the main leading role i.e title role of a blind man in a film called 'Vasantiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum', which made him popular and took him to much height.
The actor won the National Film Award and Kerala State Film Award in 1999 for his performance as Ramu in Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum.
He acted in four Telugu films namely Evadaithe Nakenti (2007), Narasimhudu (2005), Arjun (2004) and Gemini (2002).
