PDP denies differences over positions with BJP
The official spokesman of the PDP in Jammu and Kashmir, Naim Akhtar, on Saturday dismissed as rumours the talk that there were differences between his party and the coalition partner, the BJP, over ministerial positions.
`There are no differences between the PDP and the BJP. When the government formation is in process, such rumours are baseless,' he added.
Naim Akhtar said the two parties would be meeting later in the evening to decide the time of the oath-taking ceremony. The parties would be meeting the Governor.
The BJP legislature party had also met earlier and decided to continue the coalition government with the PDP. They said that they would be supporting the chief ministership of Mehbuba Mufti.
The BJP elected former Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh as their Legislative Party leader and also the continuation of his earlier position.
