After the superb success of Manam and Shoggade Chinni Nayana, Tollywood veteran actor Akkineni Nagarjuna is getting ready for another project.

Actor Nag chose this time devotional subject and his upcoming film will be directed by veteran director K Raghavendra Rao.

Interestingly, Nagarjuna okayed the film well before the release of his latest upcoming movie Oopiri.

'Om Namo Venkatesha' is the title confirmed for Nagarjuna's new movie which focuses on Hathiram Baba , a devotee of Lord Venkateshwara.

Needless to mention that Nagarjuna will be portraying a role of Hathiram Baba.

If sources are to be believed true, then ARM banner will be going to produce the film and M M Keervani will be composing the music of the movie.

Cine sources said that regular shooting of the film will be commencing from June this year.

It is to be mentioned here that Raghavendra Rao has directed three devotional films with Nagarjuna namely Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and Shirdi Sai.

Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu did wonders in the box office, where as Shirdi Sai stood average.
