Political tactics :Telangana CM KCR offers RS seat to Venkaiah Naidu
Union Minister for Urban Development and senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu's Rajya Sabha term is coming to an end in June.
At present, Venkaiah Naidu is representing from Karnataka State.
Venkaiah has reportedly disappointed as no state has come forward to offer him Rajya Sabha seat for next term.
Even, Venkaiah Naidu has reportedly asked AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu about Rajya Sabha seat.
It is learnt that Chandrababu has not given any proper assurance to him.
The TRS party is mulling the idea of offering a Rajya Sabha seat to Venkaiah Naidu .
Meanwhile, Telangana CM Chandrasekhar Rao(KCR) has offered seat to Venkaiah Naidu expecting that the TRS government will have cordial relations with Centre.
As far as the possibility of offering a Rajya Sabha seat to veteran Venkaiah Naidu is concerned, the TRS is reportedly in a comfortable position to win one of the two seats only which were falling vacant in retirement of a Congress and a TDP member.
For winning a Rajya Sabha seat, there is requirement of minimum support of 42 members.
