Guntur TDP MP  escapes unhurt as convoy cars crash

Member of Parliament from Guntur Galla Jayadev is lucky  as he escaped unhurt in a multiple car crash in his constituency on Saturday.

Jayadev was visiting his constituency to attend a bridge foundation stone-laying functions. At Medikondur, he participated in the ceremony along with AP Minister Prattipati Pulla Rao.

While on the return journey, owing to a sudden jolt in the pilot vehicle, the leaders' convoy was involved in a multiple car smash as the convoy was negotiating a narrow bridge at Perecherla.


The accident occurred as five vehicles of the convoy hit against one another on the Perecharla bridge

Jayadev, who was in one of the cars, was unhurt. 


It is to be mentioned here that the MP laid foundation stone to construct two bridges in Medikondur at a cost of Rs. 6 crores.

Jayadev is the grandson of Chandrababu Naidu's political mentor.
