Hyderabad Metro Rail Works Speed Up

Good news for the people of Hyderabad as the the traffic problems are going to be solved soon as the Metro Rail works have been speeded up.

Railway sources said that about Rs 14, 132 Crore has been spent for 3 corridor maintaining a distance of 72 km.

It is said that 66 metro rail stations and 3 depots are been under constructions.

Uppal and Miyapur depots are almost ready.

There is use of modern technology in Metro Rails.

Nagole-Mettuguda, covering 8 km, the test run has been conducted last year in August month .

Miyapur to SR Nagar, covering 12 km, the test run was also conducted recently.

It is said that these two routes will be given green signal soon.

It is expected that by 2017 July, all Metro Rail works will be completed.

It is to be mentioned here that the Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) is a first project, that is being built under the public-private partnership model in the country and world-class technology is also being used here by the L&T Company.
