Muslim girl from Karnataka tops Ramayan course
One can not find more example of Religious tolerance than this.
A Class 9 Muslim student of Sarvodaya High School, Sulliapadavu, located on the Karnataka-Kerala border secured the first place in the Ramayan exam conducted by the Bharatha Sanskriti Prathisthan in November 2015.
Fathimah Rahila, who hails from Puttur village close to Mangalore, has scored 93 per cent in the exam.
She is now planning to do a course in Mahabharat.
With the support of her father and uncle, Fathimah got first position in the Ramayan exam.
Her father is Ibrahim M, who works in a factory. Her mother is a homemaker.
It is learnt that Fathimath's feat comes after that of a girl from Mumbai, who won a Bhagwad Gita contest last year.
