Crime against women will be sternly dealt with: Nannapaneni
Andhra Pradesh Women Commission Chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari said that commission will take legal action if any person found guilty in harassing women.
She assured of controlling sexual harassment of women at workplace.
The senior TDP leader said that she will strive for resolving the problems being faced by the women community.
She participated as a chief guest at a programme organised by Vasavya Mahila Mandali in Vijayawada.
Nannapaneni said that she will strive to bring amendments in existing laws for punishing mischievous mongers, who are harassing girl students and women.
Further she felt that a rapid change in the mindset of women could work as an effective deterrent against the malady.
It is to be mentioned here that newly appointed chairperson of the Women’s Commission Nannapaneni Rajakumari was being administered oath by women and child welfare minister P Sujatha in Guntur on Wednesday.
