South Indian actress Kalpana dies at the age of 51
Popular film actress Kalpana Ranjani, known as Kalpana has passed away on Monday.
She was brought dead at Apollo Hospitals from her hotel room in Hyderabad, where she was found unconscious early morning today.
The Malayalam actress is believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest.
According to reports, 51 year actress came to Hyderabad for a film shoot.
The actress Kalpana, who was known as a comic actress in the industry has acted in more than 300 films.
She had won the Best Supporting Actress award for her performance in a Malayalam film in 2012.
She has two siblings namely Urvashi and Kalaranjini.
She has debuted in the film industry as a child artiste in 1983.
The Malayalam film industry shocked over the unexpected demise of the actress .
