Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kodela celebrates Sankranthi festival in his village
Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kodela Shiva Prasada Rao has celebrated the harvest festival i.e Sankranthi festival at his own village Kandlagunta in Nekarikallu Mandal of Guntur district.
He is maintaining the tradition of visiting his own village every year and celebrates Sankranthi festival.
AP Speaker has interacted with the villagers and came to know about their problems and took a note of it to sort out the problems.
He has given pose with newly wedded couples for photographs and also became the part of their selfies.
He has visited SCs,STs and BCs colonies and started a noble cause of making of grave yard.
The Speaker has also inspected the developmental plans of Zilla Parishad school in the village.
He has reportedly directed the villagers to send their children to schools.
Villagers have expressed happiness this time as it is Kodela Shiva Prasada Rao's first visit to his village after assuming the charge of AP Assembly Speaker.
