Anushka Sharma excited with her movie Sultan

Bollywood leading actress Anushka Sharma has been enacting an important role for her upcoming film 'Sultan'.

The movie which has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, has posted the developments of the film on a micro-blogging site Twitter saying that  the crew has "wrapped up" the first day of shoot with the "PK" actress.

His twitter reads thus -' "Just wrapped first day of shoot with @AnushkaSharma. Team @SultanTheMovie welcomes you on board."

PK actress, who will be seen opposite 50 year Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has also tweeted expressing her happiness.

NH 10 actress tweets, which reads thus -'"New beginnings ... New journey... Heading for the first day of #Sultan shoot. Excited! Here we go."

It is to be mentioned here that Salman Khan has undergone intensive training for wrestling and mixed martial arts with the support from international action director Larnell Stovall.

The film has other characters as Randeep Hooda, portraying the role of Coach and Amit Sadh as Sultan (young).

Vishal-Shekhar has composed the music of the movie.

The movie is produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films banner and it is all set to hit the screens on Eid in 2016.
