Kamal Haasan heaps praise on Vetri maaran
South India's veteran actor Kamal Haasan has reportedly heaped praise on Vetri maaran for making a remarkable film 'Visaaranai'.
The legendary actor ,after watching the movie at a private screening at his office on Friday, congratulated the director Vetrimaaran for choosing amazing concept on forthcoming Tamil thriller.
Actor-filmmaker, who is carried away by the movie shared his feelings on micro-blogging site i.e Twitter on Saturday.
His twitter comments read thus - "My heartfelt thanks to late filmmaker Balu Mahendra, who inspired Vetrimaaran to make good cinema.
Coming to the story lines, it has been learnt from cine sources that the film highlights about police brutality.
It is inspired from true events and is based on the book "Lock Up", the sources added.
The movie jointly produced by actor Dhanush and Vetrimaaran, features Dinesh, Murugadoss, Samuthirakani and Kishore in the lead roles.
The movie which is distributed by Lyca Productions is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on February 5.
It is to be mentioned here that the film had its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival.
It is also said that the movie was later screened at the Mumbai International Film Festival, too.
