Ranganath's last wish draws attention of his greatness

Actor Ranganath, who committed suicide on Saturday, was a man who would never forget his commitments.

Ranganath made two notes in his puja room. One anticipated the arrival of organisations wishing to honour him for his film career, whom he greeted: `Good-bye Sir.' It was the alert raised by one such organisation whose members knocked at his door that led to the realization of suicide.

The second noting was poignant: He didn't want his maid servant to go penniless. He made the maid, Meenakshi, an allowance of Rs.2 lakh. He also advised his near relatives not to create difficulties for the maid. There were bond papers worth the amount in his safe, which should be given to Meenakshi.

The two notings have overwhelmed Tollywood. They are describing the notings as actor's commitments.
