The minister claimed that he is the fittest person to become the Prime Minister.
The minister said that he is ready to take the new challenge and aspires to take up the top job .
The minister has reportedly said that if Narendra Modi resigns from his PM post and all MPs elect him as the PM, then it will send a good message across the country and the country will progress with each passing day.
Azam Khan claimed that Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has also been supporting his candidature for the Prime Minister's post.
