Goutham Gambhir tells media to verify facts
After defeating the Mahendrasingh Dhoni-led Jharkhand team in the Vijay Hazare trophy match, Gautam Gambhir, the captain of the Delhi team, is rumoured to have left the cricket ground without the customary shaking of hands with his rival captain.
This has been a sensation in the interested TV channels and media in the last two days.
The media also waxed eloquent that relations between the two leading Indian cricketers had soured, as a result of which Gambhir is out of the India eleven.
Clearing the air, Gautam posted the post-match shaking hands picture in his Twitter account, with the caption, "Dis handshake made more news dan d one between Pak PM Nawaz Sharif & Mr Narender Modi! Grow up media. Verify facts."
No wonder, the sports writers and media make much of what is not there and little of what's really happening in the cricketing world such as satta, match-fixing and money making.
