Captain cool MS Dhoni breaks Kamran Akhmal's record of most stumping

Eventhough MS Dhoni's home side Jharkhand lost the second quarter final of the Vijay Hazare trophy in Delhi, Captain cool Dhoni has created yet another record.

Dhoni, who was 78 not out in his team's total score of 126, broke the record for most number of stumpings in Asian Professional Cricket, when he stumped Delhi's Shikhar Dhawan to take his count to 208 at the M Chinnaswamy stadium.

MS Dhoni in this way has surpassed Pakistan's Kamran Akmal to achieve the feat.

The Ranchi-born cricketer has a total of 137 International stumpings to his name i.e 38 in tests and 88 in ODIs and 11 in Twenty 20.

He is also on the verge of taking top spot. He is only second on the list behind former Sri Lankan keeper Kumar Sangakkara.
