Case against Simbu, Anirudh for composing 'obscene' song 

Tamil hero Simbu is known for landing up in controversies and it has become a habit for him and his association with heroines and especially with Nayanatara was much talked about.

 Now again it seems he has landed up in a fresh controversy along with Anirudh who is a music director for the famous song Kolaveri di and as per sources Anirush is not a lesser tom when compared to Simbu.

The duo were booked under section 4 read with section 6 of the Indecent Representation of Women Act and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult modesty of a woman) of Indian Penal Code(IPL) and 67 (publishing or obscene material in electronic form) of the IT Act.

Actor Simbu was asked to be present before the Race Course Police Station in Coimbatore on December 19 and music director Anirudh also based on a complaint over their 'Beep' song.

The police have also been weighing the pros and cons of the case related with the music director, though he had distanced himself from the song through statements in the social media.

Police and clue teams are under way to find out who had uploaded the song online and on social media.
