The Tamil Nadu power officials cut power to the residence of actor Kamal Haasan for the last one week.
Reports published that power was wantedly denied to Kamal Haasan's house as he criticised the Jayalalithaa government's tardy relief efforts following heavy rains and floods.
However, a senior power official condemned reports.
He said power cut was imposed in locality where Kamal Haasan resides due to water stagnation and substandard power cables.
