Dilip Kumar To Be Honoured With Padma Vibhushan On His 93rd Birthday
India's second highest civilian award, Padma Vibhushan will be honoured to veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar on December 13, 2015, two days after his 93rd birthday.
Dilip Kumar, whose real name is Yusuf Khan has decided to skip his birthday celebration on Friday (December 11) to mark the solidarity towards Chennai floods victims.
The actor will be honoured with Padma Vibhushan on December 13 at his residence in Mumbai.
Cinema icon Dilip Kumar couldn't receive the awards at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the national capital in April due to his health issues.
It is said that the award will be presented by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
