Lakshmi Devi pictures on crackers turn controversy
A new controversy has surfaced on sale of fire crackers bearing the images of Goddess Lakshmi Devi and other deities.
The leaders of Vishwa Hindu Parishad have faulted the sale of fire crackers wrapping with image covers of Gods and Goddess .
They said that Hindu people praying Lakshmi Devi on the auspicious occasion of Deewali should not burn crackers with images of Gods and Goddess as it hurts the sentiments of Hindu people.
