DMK opposes compulsory Tamil rule on Telugu students 



Telugu associations and students organised Telugu Mahasabhalu in Hosur town in Tamil Nadu.



They condemned the State government?s rule for making learning of Tamil language must for Telugu students.

 Political parties and student unions criticised the Jayalalithaa government's decision.

DMK leader Stalin extended support to Telugu associations.

 He said that the DMK would allow Telugu students to learn Telugu in schools.

YSRCP MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy said it is undemocratic to impose Tamil language on Telugu speaking students.

 Earlier, a massive rally was organised protesting against the State government's rule to learn Tamil compulsorily.
