Sanjay Dutt's pardon plea in 1993 Bombay blasts case rejected
The 56-year-old actor had appealed to the Governor to cancel his remaining jail term. Former Supreme Court judge Markandey Katju had moved the petition two-and-half-years ago on behalf of Sanjay Dutt.
Sanjay is at present out on parole. He had cited his daughter illness as the reason in his parole application.
The actor has to serve another 42 months in the jail, which is part of his five-year term.
