Saina Nehwal is the tech brand ambassador of the year
The award function was organised by the NDTV .
Though she was not available to receive the awards at the Gadget Guru Awards ceremony being held in Hyderabad as she is in Bangalore taking training for the Olympics.
However, she joined in, on a live link to receive the award and said that her father will be receiving the award on behalf of her.
She said that the award is special as she has not won awards in anything other than sports.
