India vs Sri Lanka: India clinches test series, Ist series win after 22 years

India has defeated host Sri Lanka in a final test match and clinched the series with  a margin of 2-1.

 It is a historic as it is first Test series victory in Sri Lanka in 22 years .

India defeated the host nation by 117–run in the deciding final Test on Tuesday.

India's previous series win in Sri Lanka was in 1993.

On the other side, it is Sri Lanka's second successive home series defeat in a row, having lost 1-2 to Pakistan earlier.
