Cash-for-vote scam: TS ACB names Chandrababu
Hyderabad, Aug 18: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's name cropped up in the charge sheet filed by TS Anti-corruption Bureau in the sensational cash-for-vote case.
According to reports, Chandrababu's name was mentioned 22 times in the charge sheet and officials tried to establish that the accused acted on the CM's directions.
The charge sheet has been filed against TDP MLA Revanth Reddy, TDP Christian Cell head Bishop Harry Sebastian, Revanth's follower Rudra Uday Simha and Jerusalem Mathaiah.
According to the charge sheet, Sebastian claimed himself as emissary of Chandrababu and offered Rs 2 crore to TRS MLA Stephenson if he abstains from voting in the MLC elections.
