Toll-free number 12890 for Pushkaralu
Rajahmundry/Hyderabad, July 5: The AP government had introduced a special toll-free number 12890, to receive complaints about the arrangements of Pushkaralu.
Special Officer for Pushkaralu K Dhanunjay Reddy said this new toll-free number will come into force from July 10 and work 24 hours. The complaints that comes to this number would be intimated to the in-charges of ghat and proper steps would be taken.
He further said a special mobile application was on the anvil on the arrangements and facilities provided to the pilgrims. Pilgrims can download this app and get information about parking places, bus station, booking counter, reservations, priests, tourist spots, hospitals and other information.
Smart Kiosks would be set up at 20 places in Rajahmundry city, the Special Officer said. Timings of essential commodities were relaxed till 9 pm. Onions and potatoes were being imported from other states and 20 mobile rythu bazaars will be opened in the city.
