Case lodged on Amitabh, Abhishek Bachchan 

Ghaziabad, June 18: A case has been booked against Bollywood actors Amitab Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan in Gaziabad for disrespecting the national flag.

Complainant Chetan Dhiman stated in his complaint that the duo were seen wearing the national flag during the world cup cricket math between India and Pakistan at Adelaide on February 15 this year.

Chetan's lawyer Sanjeev Sharma said the complainant and five of his friends saw both the actors covering their body with the flag. He said that it was nothing but insulting the national flag.

The lawyer further said that the actors' act was covered under the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971 and the Flag Code of India, 2002. As per the court orders police filed a case on Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan.
