TDP's Prestigious Mahanadu kicks off at Gandipet in Hyderabad

The 34th edition of prestigious event Mahanadu has kicked off at Gandipet in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has visited the venue point and hoisted the party flag amid his ministers, MLAs, MPs, MLCs, district presidents and thousands of party activists, according to reports.
A song has been sung on Jai Telugu Thalli on the occasion.
Addressing on the occasion, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will strive hard to work for the well being of Telugu people in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and at the Centre.
He said that this 'Mahanadu' will be historic as it was the first after the bifurcation of state of United Andhra Pradesh.Further, he said that Andhra and Telangana are his two eyes.
He also threw a challenge for debate stating that Telangana and Hyderabad were developed during his rule in united Andhra Pradesh
On defection of some TDP legislators to the TRS, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh said that if one leader leaves the party, his place is occupied with 100 more leaders as its cadres are intact.
Mr Chandrababu Naidu lauded the hard work and discipline of the cadres, because of which the party has flourished and emerged stronger from every crisis during the past 34 years.
On Capital issue,Mr Naidu said that the government will develop a world class capital city Amaravathi, taking the master plan assistance from Singapore.
He thanked the farmers for giving their land for the capital, without which the dream of achieving any thing is not possible.
Mr Chandrababu Naidu has castigated both the Congress and YSR Congress party. He said that Congress has lost its identity and will never recover in Andhra Pradesh.
On YSR Congress party, Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that the party was born out of corruption.
As per the reliable sources, the party has been trying to spread its wings to neighbouring states like Tamil Nadu and Karnataka where a large number of Telugu people live.
The Telugu desam party has already a unit running in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
