Coal scam case : Jindal;,Dasari Narayana Rao,others get bail
A Delhi court, i.e Patiala court on Friday has granted bail to former union minister of state for coal Dasari Narayan Rao,former coal secretary H.C. Gupta, industrialist Naveen Jindal, former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda and eight others in a Coal scam case.

The said judgement has been announced by special judge Bharat Parashar of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The judge has asked them to each furnish a personal bond of Rs.1 lakh and surety of the same.
The Delhi court has further given direction to them stating that they should not leave the country without prior permission.
It has to be mentioned that Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the chargesheet on April 29th has accused Jindal, Koda, Dasari Narayana Rao, Gupta and six others namely Gyan Swaroop Garg, Suresh Singhal, Rajeev Jain, Girish Kumar Juneja, R.K. Saraf and K. Ramakrishna
The CBI on April 29 filed a chargesheet against Jindal, Koda, Rao, Gupta and six others - Gyan Swaroop Garg, Suresh Singhal, Rajeev Jain, Girish Kumar Juneja, R.K. Saraf and K. Ramakrishna.
The CBI has also named the five private companies in the chargesheet. Out of five companies, four are being based in Delhi and one in Hyderabad.
The names of the companies which have made the news for wrong reasons are Jindal Steel and Power Ltd, Gagan Sponge Iron Pvt Ltd, Jindal Reality Pvt Ltd, New Delhi Exim Pvt Ltd and Sowbhagya Media Ltd.
The said companies have been charged with criminal conspiracy, cheating and various provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act by the CBI.
This case which dates back to 2008 is related to the allocation of the Amarkonda Murgadangal block in Birbhum in Jharkhand.
It has been reported that on June 11, 2013 , searches have been conducted at 19 locations in Delhi and Hyderabad in connection with the case.
Veteran director and producer Dasari Narayan Rao was the union minister of state for coal between 2006 and 2009 when the Coal scam took place.
