Will AP capital land acquisition lead to trouble ?

Andhra Pradesh government has issued GO 166 on Thursday related with the Land Acquisition in the capital regions of Andhra Pradesh.

The GO will come into effect from tomorrow i.e Friday(May 15th,2015) and the land acquisition act will become operational from tomorrow.

Earlier the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA)act has failed to acquire adequate lands, so TDP government has taken the initiative of land pooling and land acquisition processes.

According to GO, the Andhra Pradesh government is all set and certain to forcibly acquire lands from the farmers of Undavalli, Penumaka and other villages.

Earlier the farmers have approached the High Court refusing to offer 800 acres of land. But with the implementation of the land acquisition GO, the land is expected to be acquired by the government.

As per the GO, the collectors have been given full powers to acquire lands.

The work of land acquisition has been handed over to Guntur Collectorate.

On the other hand, some section of the farming communities are still objecting to it and they are raising protests against the land pooling as well as the land acquisition process.

YCP leader Jogi Ramesh has strongly condemned against the Chandrababu Naidu's government stating that land pooling process has not been implemented in any part of the World. Further, he has slammed Chandrababu  Naidu alleging that he has created the fearing atmosphere among the farmers which is strictly objectionable.

He has appealed the farmers to come forward and come forward to offer their lands either by means of land pooling process or be ready to face the land acquisition act.
